Hello, Spring!

Happy Thursday friends! Okay, Justin and I were just talking about this yesterday. Does anyone else feel like Thursday is the new hump day? Maybe it’s just us, but it just feels like Thursday is the hardest day to get through! It’s so close to the weekend and you can almost taste the Aperol Spritz waiting for you. Maybe I sound crazy, who knows!

If you follow me on Instagram, you know that I LOVE Winter and I love the snow. I love curling up at home and watching the snow fall down outside. We have had a very white winter this year which I just loved, especially because we didn’t have to drive anywhere since we are working from home. I always think I want Winter to last forever, but once the weather gets above 40 degrees I get SO excited for Spring. Kansas City in the Spring is truly so stunning. The trees get so green and the pink blossoms start to bloom. One day everything will be completely dead still and the next day it will be so green - it happens THAT fast. I am so grateful to live somewhere with seasons. It makes the year so much more interesting to not know what the weather will be the next day. It is supposed to rain for the next 5 days, but I know that means bright green trees in a few weeks so I am HERE FOR IT.

Another reason I love Spring is because it feels like a home refresh. You clean up all the Winter decor and you start to go for a cleaner look. I tend to go a little crazy on home decor in the Spring because I just love changing up the look of everything and I love the simplicity of Spring decor.

There have been so many amazing collaborations with interior designers lately, it is hard to keep up! They are all just too good and I just want everything. I thought it would be fun to share some of my favorite recent finds for home decor!

Justin and I are currently trying to save up for a house, so I am trying so hard to not buy a lot right now - but I am still going to look, “window shop” and envision what our future house will look like!
